Situated on the banks of the Mighty Clarence River which is the base for our local fishing fleet and within an easy drive to our amazing National Parks, World Heritage Coastal Rainforest and any of our eleven beaches.

Maclean Stays, your fully self-contained and self catering accommodation located in the heart of charming Maclean, adjacent to Maclean Hospital, offers the latest in style and modern self-contained unit accommodation.

Whilst in Maclean, be sure to include the Scottish Cairn, the Maclean Lookout, The Pinnacle and the Bicentennial Museum in your itinerary. Maclean is commonly known as ‘the Scottish Town in Australia’. Many of its street signs are written in Gaelic as well as English. Australia’s oldest free presbyterian church still holds services for the descendants of the early settlers, and there is a large Scottish cairn constructed from rocks from around Australia and Scotland in the Herb Stanford Memorial Park, overlooking the river in Taloumbi Street. Maclean is also well known for its river fishing and its easy access to coastal national parks and holiday resorts.

Quality bedding and bed linen is standard to ensure an enjoyable night’s rest. These Units provide all the comforts of home and within easy walking distance of Maclean town centre, its restaurants and eateries, sporting facilities and clubs, hospital, nursing homes and the mighty Clarence River. Undercover parking is also provided for our guests.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

Check-in is from 2pm. Any late check-in or self check-in is available on prior request, via a key safe method
Check-out is prior to 10am. A late check-out may be available on the day of departure – please enquire the evening before.

BOOKINGS & PAYMENT

All bookings are minimum 3 nights stay.
All bookings must be secured within 3 to 7 days of reservation with a deposit for an amount equivalent to one night’s tariff or 50%, whichever is the greater.
Last minute bookings must be paid in full at the time of making the reservation.
Balance of payment is due a minimum of 7 days prior to arrival – or deposit will be forfeited and accommodation re-let.
Arrangement can be made for balance to be paid on check-in, providing credit card details are supplied.
Bookings may be secured by: Visa, Mastercard or AMEX.
Tariffs quoted are effective from 1 June 2012 and are subject to change without notice.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

30 days notice of cancellation is required for deposit to be refunded in full, less a cancellation fee of $50.
Cancellations within 30 days of arrival – deposit will be forfeited if the Unit cannot be re-let for the entire period.
Cancellations within 14 days of arrival – tariff will be charged in full and all monies paid will be forfeited, if the unit cannot be re-let for entire period.
All refunds are less a cancellation fee of $50.
